This past year of 2017 has brought some amazing things into my life. First off In February my second daughter was born and will be 11 months tomorrow. It is amazing how time and life flies by so quickly. Starting tomorrow she will be headed to daycare so I can be baby free and give me my full concentration on what I absolutely love…Trading!
I have to thank her as well, because she was a major catalyst in me completing my book #FMJ Trust Transition Trade. Which I was honored to have hit best seller numerous times since it’s release on Amazon Kindle. The reason behind me writing the book was it was the book I was looking for when I first started out on my trading journey. Which has lead to bigger and better ways of sharing like at the Trade Ideas Holly Summit
At the Summit, I was asked for a second year in a row to share my journey and how I use Trade Ideas for my trading. You can watch my portion of the event here. I had overwhelming response from people feeling connected to the struggles I had before I found trading. I know what it is like to be working paycheck to paycheck. I’m so thankful to have found the freedom so say goodbye to bosses.
All of this sharing also landed my blog 13th out of the top 30 trading blogs with foxytrades.com and 22nd out of 50 feedspot.com
It is feedback from people like you finding value in me sharing and trying to help others that honestly keeps me inspired to do more. There are definitely haters out there that I just believe are jealous because they have not put in the time to do it for themselves and only see the end result. It takes a lot of time and devotion just like trading to contribute and continue sharing. I feel very blessed to be where I am in life and look forward to helping others even more.
This upcoming year brings new goals to be met.
First I want to step into the crypto currency trading world. I started studying mid November and saw some big advancements on a couple that I thought would be good to invest in. In my opinion there will be a transfer to crypto currency and it will happen like the adoption of the cd from record and then onto ipods to streaming. To me this is the streaming result of currencies and why wouldn’t it.
I will write another blog post as to my investments next week once they are complete.
Second on the list of goals is to help people in person with the Modern Traders Summit in Orlando this June, which is being sponsored by Trade Ideas . I have a great line up of people speaking and really look forward to chatting with individuals and helping many at once. I have people emailing me daily asking me to train them and with the two little ones that dominate my free time it just isn’t a reality at this time.Some of the speakers besides myself will be Latoya Smith , Anka Metcalf , Stephanie Kammerman, Alice Meade, Billy Wilson and more to come. We will be touching on the most basics to in depth strategies for stocks, options, futures, and crypto currencies. I would love to make this an annual event. My ultimate goal is to help inspire and empower others to feel comfortable trading and create a warm community of traders helping traders. Early bird registration will end Feb 1st and the space is limited. Registration opened this past weekend and seats are already filling up so don’t miss out!
3rd goal for the year is to meet that Million Milestone. Lofty Goal, but I’m never one to aim low in life. You have to work at your goals each day to make them reality and I will make it to 1 million and hopefully before 2019.
